Horse and Rider
Breaks
Elm Park situated in easy reach of Bude and Launceston, on the side of a quiet hill looking out towards Dartmoor and can offer
livery for riders wishing their horses, either for those wishing the “stop en-route” or to use as a base.
There are quiet lanes around us, fine for riding or driving. We are also in easy
boxing distance of Dartmoor, with lots of places to ride and stop for lunch, including
places such as Sourton, Lydford, Tavistock, Widecombe, and, in the other direction, Bodmin Moor
and Davidstow Moor. If you fancy riding on the beach there are beaches
within easy reach. We can provide you with maps for you to go on your own or we can arrange for a guide.
We can source accommodation for you and a stable and grazing for your horse.
If you would prefer to stay on your lorry we can arrange for hook-up.
If you would like to have some
tuition during your stay lessons are available.
There are a great deal of non-riding activities in the area, including the Eden Project, Jamaica Inn, Tintagel Castle and Camelford - “King Arthur's Country" and much more.
